Summer 2021 Update

We have made some changes to the programs that will be offered for the summer of 2021. To see a full list of available programs and up-to-date registration information, please visit the 2021 Updates section on our homepage.

Voyagers (Grades 5-7)

Voyagers, for campers who have completed 5th, 6th or 7th grade, offers activities that are a bit more challenging, with full two-week sessions that include longer overnight trips. For the day trips, campers leave the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School with their two counselors for that day's activity. Hiking, Biking and Kayaking/Canoeing will take place during each session (as well as many other exciting adventures). Please ensure that your camper is comfortable with these activities before signing up. They return to campus in the afternoon in time to go home at the end of the regular camp day. Overnight camping trips take place during the second week of each session, and are either two or three nights in duration, depending on the session chosen.

2020 Session Dates & Camping Locations

Camping is an important component of the Voyagers session. As such, there is not an on-campus alternative. Campers will be sleeping in tents and working as a group to prepare and cook their meals.
