Summer and vacation camps
for kids and teens, located in Waltham, MA

Why wait until summer to have a great camp experience?

Our Winter and Spring school vacation programs offer campers the opportunity to have a Running Brook Camp experience during the school year!

Each program takes place during the Massachusetts public school vacation weeks. The 2022 Winter Camp runs Tuesday to Friday from February 22 - 25. The 2022 Spring Camp runs Tuesday to Friday from April 19 - 22. Please note that the COVID-19 vaccination is required for all eligible campers. If you have a religious exemption for all of your vaccinations, please reach out to our Camp Nurse (ajones@chch.org).

Winter Camp Programs

  • Enjoy a Day Camp experience with a wintery twist. Our home base will be the beautiful Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall campus in Waltham, MA. This program is open to campers in kindergarten through fourth grade. We will offer classic Running Brook specials, such as: cooperative games, arts and crafts, music, and science. We hope to be outside as much as possible - definitely playing in the snow if the weather allows! Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an Extended Day option from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. There is no bus option.
  • Take to the mountains with our Adventures getaway program! We rented an incredible ski lodge in Intervale, New Hampshire for a small group of campers to stay for two nights (Wednesday - Friday). This program is open to campers in fifth through seventh grade. Campers will meet at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall on Tuesday as well for an orientation day. Tuition includes ski passes, meals, lodging, and additional activities like tubing, skating, and more! Campers will be required to wear helmets.
    • We require a minimum of seven campers to run this trip. If you are interested in enrolling, please register by February 1st, 2022!
Payment must be made in full upon registering for both programs. Refunds will be provided if Day Camp is cancelled due to weather. Running Brook Camps follow the schedule for Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall.
