Day Trekkers (Ages 9-11)

Day Trekkers offers exciting adventure programming for 9-11 year olds who are ready to venture off campus to explore the greater Boston area. Day Trekkers have the option of registering for a full week of day trips, or a week of day trips that culminates in an overnight camping trip (Thursday-Friday). Please note that there will not be a camping trip offered during the week of July 3rd-July 7th.

For the day trips, campers leave each morning from the Chapel Hill - Chauncy Hall School with their two counselors for that day's activity. They return to campus in the afternoon in time to go home at the end of the regular camp day. Activities may include hiking, biking, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, and canoeing. Activities are moderately physical and challenging, with an emphasis on both individual and group accomplishments through a spirit of cooperation and support. Some weeks will also have some community service opportunities built-in, as we feel this is another great way to help our campers connect with their group and the community at-large.
