    Jamie Schor - Head Counselor
Hey everyone! My name is Jamie Schor and I am super excited to be returning to Running Brook Day Camp for my 4th summer with the pre-school group. I just received my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and recently moved back home to Boston. I cannot wait to begin my Social Work career in my favorite New England state. Running Brook Day Camp is my favorite place and I am counting down the days until Popsicle Tuesdays, Carnival Day, Aqua Day, Cook out Fridays, watching the campers learn to swim, doing all sorts of cool art projects, learning some awesome new dance moves and, most of all, meeting all the new campers and reuniting with old ones! Some of my favorite summer activities outside of camp are going to Red Sox games, hanging with friends, going to the beach, and eating ice cream. This summer is going to be the summer of a lifetime at RBDC!

I am so excited to begin my very first summer with Running Brook Camps. I was born and raised in beautiful New Mexico where I cultivated my passion for the outdoors. Professionally, I am a clinical mental health counselor who utilizes experiential and adventure-based activities to promote healing, personal discovery, and empowerment. In my spare time, I am always looking for a new adventure. I love running, hiking, camping, climbing, playing soccer, and doing anything that challenges me to push past my own comfort zones. I look forward to getting to know everyone this summer and sharing this wonderful experience together!

Hi guys! I'm Olivia, and this will be my first summer working at Running Brook Camps! I'll be working on the High Ropes Course. I'm currently in school, and am moving to Colorado in the fall to finish my degree in Adventure Education. I'm really looking forward to working the ropes this summer, nothing cooler than seeing kids conquer fears and cheer on their friends in doing so too!

I'm a classically trained musician who studied at New England Conservatory. I sing with many professional ensembles in the Boston area, such as Blue Heron who I will travel with to England with in the fall. During the school year I teach voice lessons, piano lessons, and ukulele ensemble at Dana Hall School in Wellesley. I also teach preschool music for Music Together Arlington and Mystic Valley Music Together. In my spare time I enjoy trail running and I have completed 4 marathons. I also have a seven year old daughter who is at camp too!

I am a residential faculty member at CHCH and am excited to be back working with the Summer Arts Program. I look forward to having fun, getting my hands dirty, and cultivating creative expression. My goal is to help students become enlightened by art, for I strongly believe in its power to help younger generations become well rounded and productive members of society. In addition to teaching art within the CH-CH community, I am dedicated to my personal art making and staying active in the current art world. I also enjoy all things outdoors: such as skiing, horseback riding, and running.

    Margaret Joba-Woodruff
My name is Margaret, and I am thrilled to be working at Running Brooks this summer! I am going into my second year of studying Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where I aim to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Visual Arts. My favorite medium is oil paint, but I enjoy working with a wide variety of mediums like graphite, charcoal, acrylic, clay, etc. My most recent work has focused around breaking down societal limitations in gender roles through non-traditional visual mediums like text-based, installation, video, and collage. For fun, I enjoy skiing, sailing, writing and reading poetry. When I was young, I attended and worked at an art camp which really inspired the love for art that I have now. I am so excited to work with all the campers this summer, and I hope that I can ignite that same passion for creativity in them!

    Lauren Mazzola
Hello! My name is Lauren, and this is my first year at Running Brook Camps.  I have been practicing yoga for the last six years and have really integrated it into my daily life. I have previously taught yoga and other health focused activities to children in Nicaragua while leading medical service trips there over the last three years (I am also a Physician Assistant!). For me, yoga is about the body-mind connection, while focusing on the breath. I am very excited to practice yoga with all of you and I'm looking forward to a great summer!

Hi my name is Amy! This is my second year as a lifegaurd and swim teacher at Running Brook. I love to be enthusiastic, goofy, and creative with the activities I teach in my swim class. One of the reasons I love coming to camp everyday is because  I like to help teach and inspire all of the children, they also teach me new things everyday and I really enjoy getting to teach something  so important and influential for each and everyone of them!!
  • Casey Porcello

My name is Casey Porcello and this will be my third wonderful summer as a lifeguard/swim instructor at Running Brook! I just finished my third year at Bridgewater State University with majors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I started swimming at a young age and have loved it ever since, so I know how important it is to get the kiddos comfortable in the water. I am so excited to get back in the pool with the campers and make learning how to swim fun!
  • Sam Porcello

Hey guys, I'm Sam! I'm excited to return for my third summer on pool staff here at Running Brook! Outside of camp, I just finished my senior year of high school, and I'm headed to Bentley University in the fall for business management, so I'll be making Beaver street my home for a little longer. I also just finished my 11th season of competitive swimming. At camp, I teach a variety of levels during the summer. From seeing a kids float for the first time, pass the deep-end test, or refining strokes and distance, I love being able to help boost the confidence of the campers in and around the pool! I can't wait to meet a lot of you this summer!
