I, Michael Ryan Buckley is delighted to be back as Drama Specialist at RBDC, a place that feels increasingly more and more like a second home. I am a professional actor in and around Boston. The primary goal of Drama at RBDC is to help campers begin to feel comfortable and confident in front of an audience. Drama introduces students to exercises, scene work and theatre games designed to create characters and stories. Another goal of Drama is to help free students' creativity by utilizing their physicality, voices, and, most importantly, their imaginations. I am a cast member of ImprovBoston’s National Touring Company and ImprovBoston’s FaceOff.

    Bre Mahoney
My Name is Bre and I am so excited to work in the Arts Camp at the Running Brook Camps this summer! I have been teaching art for over ten years, spending much of that time with middle school students! I received my BFA from Montserrat College of Art, where my concentration was in the traditional areas of drawing and painting. I later completed my Masters Degree in Art Education, where I spent much of my studio time exploring digital media in relation to my painting and drawing techniques. I am currently teaching at the Arlington After School Program during the school year, and developing a paint night business on the side. My most recent artwork is a combination of traditional landscapes paintings with digitally enhanced images. I am excited to bring similar art projects to the camp this summer, and to watch young artists grow through many expressive projects!

    Luke DiOrio
Hello! My name is Luke DiOrio, I am so excited to be starting my fourth summer RBDC! This year I have taken on the role as Sports Specialist. I am so excited for the opportunity to be able to engage with multiple groups this summer. Primarily, I will be working with older groups. I am sure I will get the chance to work with some younger groups as well. I have played some type of sport since I was about 5 years old. So naturally, this position will be a great fit for me. In high school I attended Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall School, where I was a 3 letter varsity athlete. At CHCH I was luck enough to find Ultimate Frisbee, I ended up falling in love with it. I have competed across the country and world competing at an elite level for the past 4 years. It has been an amazing experience to say the least. I look forward to meeting all the new and returning campers this summer! See you guys on the field.
