Running Brook Camps is hosting three Open Houses for all of our programs at the following dates and times:
Sunday December 11th at 10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
Sunday January 8th at 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.
Sunday February 12th at 10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
We invite you to come to campus for a brief presentation that will start on the hour, followed by a tour of our campus. Please dress for the weather! Come meet some of our staff, and get answers to all of your questions about camp. Kids welcome!
The Open Houses will be based in our student commons building at 375 Lexington St. in Waltham. Look for balloons marking the entrance. We hope to see you!
The camp runs from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday during the on-campus portion of the session. When a group leaves for a camping trip, it returns for dismissal at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Please note that dismissal on the last day of camp (August 18) will be at 2pm instead of 3:45.
Each camper needs to bring her/his own non-refrigerated lunch, drink and snack each day during the day-trip portion of the session. For overnight camping trips, campers need their lunch for the first day of the trip and snack money. The camp supplies the food for the remainder of the trip.
Each Adventures trip can accommodate a maximum of 13 campers. There are two staff for every trip. In order to provide participants with a rewarding group experience, each trip will require a minimum number of campers (typically 6-7 or more) in order to run. If a trip is going to be cancelled, families of registered campers will be notified by April 1.
