It's already week 8?! We can't believe it's the last week of camp! This summer FLEW by!
Week 7 was action packed. The group played water games in cooperative games, learned new moves in self-defense, played 'Pac-Man tag' in sports, and sang under the sea songs in music. On Wednesday, we had a marionette puppet show come in for a special performance. They put on a performance of the story Cinderella. The kids really enjoyed it! On Friday, the special event was Aqua Day, part 2! There was Running Brook's famous man made giant slip n' slide, Richie's slush, a bouncy inflatable slide, and other water games like 'don't tip the waiter.’ It was another beautiful Aqua Day and the kids had a blast!
A big accomplishment in Group 3 is that a few boys in our group passed the deep end test in the pool! It's amazing to see how much the whole group has improved in their swimming since the beginning of the summer. It's something they should ALL be very proud of!!
This last week, the group has been prepping and learning dance moves for their dance they are going to do for performance day on Friday. We are looking forward to the performance and we can't wait to see what other groups have in store!
Nicole, Joey and I(Shannon) have had a great summer!! We honestly can't believe it's already over! We hope the boys had as much fun as we did and we hope to see them again next year! Have a blast in first grade Group 3!! :)
