STEWARDS offers campers who have completed 7th through 9th grade the opportunity to learn about the environment and help their community. This program is for those who love nature and supporting those around them. If interested, members of this group may be able to use some of their adventures as school community service. Stewards is the intermediate group of the Adventures program.
Activities may include trail clean-ups and picnics, visits to local farms or gardens, and community engagement with local organizations. All admission fees are included in the tuition cost. This program includes one night of camping within an hour of the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall campus. A detailed schedule of activities will be sent via email at least two weeks prior to your enrolled session(s).
Drop-off and pick-up will occur at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall every day. Drop-off runs from 8:15am - 8:45am. Pick-up runs from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.
