Day Camp Counselor Positions

We have a wide variety of positions available! These include: counselors, float staff, specialists (e.g. yoga, arts and crafts, archery, self-defense, woodworking), and more. Apply or reach out to us so we can figure out the best opportunity for you!

At Running Brook, we believe that camp is special because of the people who are there. Camp is a place where youth come to play and grow in a group - as a member of our staff, you will play an integral role in this incredible experience. Along the way, we hope you will learn about yourself and gain valuable experience to use throughout your life.

What You Will Do

  • Be available for the camp season, June 26 through August 18, Monday to Friday,
  • 8:15am-4:00pm
  • Participate in pre-camp training and professional development
  • Monitor the day-to-day operation of the camp program
  • Communicate effectively with leadership team, counselors, campers, and parents
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform other duties as requested
  • Practice self-care in order to put your best foot forward
  • Be safe and have fun with the whole Running Brook community!

What You Need

  • Relevant education and experience
    • Examples: education, child development, clinical work, parks and recreation
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster
