Day Trekkers (Grades 5-6)

DAY TREKKERS offers campers who have completed 5th or 6th grade the opportunity to discover adventures in the greater Boston area in two-week sessions. This program is for those who are looking to test the waters with nature. Day Trekkers is an introductory group of the Adventures program.

Activities may include rock climbing, biking, kayaking, hiking, beach days, and visiting the Boston Museum of Science. All admission fees are included in the tuition cost. This program includes one night of camping within an hour of the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall campus. Camping will take place on the second Thursday of each session. The only exception to this occurs during Session 1, when camping will occur on a Tuesday evening (July 2nd) due to the July 4th holiday.

Drop-off and pick-up will occur at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall every day. Drop-off runs from 8:15am - 8:45am. Pick-up runs from 3:30pm - 4:00pm. When a group leaves for a camping trip, it returns in time for dismissal on Friday. Please note that there will be an early dismissal (2:00pm) on August 16th. Bus and Extended Day options are also available!
